Love Hilton focuses on three core pillars: Live Local, Support Local, Give Local. Each of these areas is designed to inspire a spirit of active citizenship and sustainable growth for our community.
Live Local
We collaborate with the uMngeni Municipality to enhance the town’s appearance, improve infrastructure, and contribute to meaningful public projects. From landscaping intersections to maintaining verges, creating walkways and cycle paths, and upgrading recreational spaces — our goal is to make Hilton a safer town that works for everyone.
Our initiatives include:

- Beautifying key areas and public intersections
- Developing walkways, cycle paths, and green spaces
- Supporting arts, sports, and culture through local events.
Support Local
We believe in growing local business from within. Through Love Hilton Business Connect, we offer a digital platform that helps Hilton-based businesses gain visibility, connect with each other, and reach more local consumers.
Love Hilton Business Connect offers:
- Business listings and exposure on the website
- Tiered options for business advertising
- Opportunities for local networking and collaboration
- Free listings for community events to drive local participation
We’re creating an ecosystem where Hilton-based businesses thrive and locals know where to go for trusted services.
Give Local
The Give Local arm of Love Hilton enables residents to directly support community organisations through a transparent, tax-compliant fundraising platform. Love Hilton NPC has signed MOUs with several trusted local groups — including Hilton Buddies, Laddsworth School, Hilton Steam, Boomtown, and more.
How it works:
- Donate directly to a listed organisation or to Love Hilton NPC
- Receive a Section 18(a) certificate for tax deduction
- Contributions are collected, reconciled, and transferred monthly
- A small administrative fee ensures the platform remains sustainable
